1.2 For purposes of branding, Webflow (our website provider) uses font files from Google Fonts to display content on this website. To properly display the content to you, servers where the font files are stored may receive personal information about you, including: information about your browser, network or device.
1.3 For the purposes of business marketing
1.3.1 For business to business (B2B) marketing: We sometimes communicate with business professionals who we understand to be responsible for purchasing or commissioning photography on behalf of themselves or their employer (which we understand to be legitimate use within the General Data Protection Regulation). These communications, and the data gathering exercises that enable them, are purely for marketing purposes, intended to promote the services of Al Topping Photos & Film and to generate new business. Be assured that we never share any personal data gathered in this regard (e.g. name, company, job title, email address and telephone numbers etc.) unless specifically stated, other than with a 3rd party applications called Studio Ninja whose services are used to provide our backup our business documentation as part of our wider business strategy, provide our email list and manage our customer relationships. 1.3.2 For the purposes of business to consumer (B2C) marketing: We mostly receive communication requests from consumers looking to enquire about our consumer services. This information may come to us by direct email or using one of our online forms. The information we receive from either source will be held in accordance with our privacy policy. We process this information using Studio Ninja and Encharge to allow us to deliver our services but otherwise never share personal data with any other 3rd party. Al Topping Photos & Film will only ever contact individuals who have stated that they wish to be contacted.
1.4 For the purposes of photo assignments and image licensing:
1.4.1 Model release forms enable us to ensure the model understand the risks of participating in a photo shoot and they give us permission to use their likeness for commercial purposes. We typically collect the following information: name, gender, age category, contact details. We never share any of this data unless necessary, as defined in the following circumstances:
1.4.2 For the purpose of managing the photo shoot we are legislatively required to retain the model release form for a minimum of 3 years and do so in digital form within own privately owned Synology cloud account.
1.4.3 For the purpose of notifying the model of future modelling opportunities available, we will retain their contact details and notify them of the opportunity using our email client, Encharge
1.4.4 For the purpose of delivering our contracted services to our clients who have requested models feature in their imagery, it may be necessary to share some of the model's details. This may include their name, age category, their visual appearance and contact details. In any case, the models information will not be shared unless permission has been received from the model and they have approved their details being shared with the client.
1.5 For the purposes of offering a better service
1.5.1 We collect data on who uses our website, at what time of the day, where they view the site from and what actions they take on the site. This information is processed by Google and Facebook using their Analytics and tracking services. Our cookie popup only permits Facebook to track a user's activity upon authority being granted for it to do so as indicated on our website cookie policy popup. If the user approves cookies these services are enabled, if not they won't.
1.5.2 Our email client Encharge also monitors our website traffic to allow our marketing emails to trigger upon specific actions taken by our website users. We also use Mouseflow to monitor customer activity to improve the efficiency of our website and enhance our customer's experience online.
2. Change your cookie settings: Most modern browsers allow the user to configure the settings to be informed of the receipt of cookies or to delete and or prevent them being installed on the user's computer. In a few cases some of the services on this website may not function as a result.
